• 12-Step Immersion

Sponsorship and 12 step work is the heart of our program. We believe that 12 step recovery is paramount to the success of individual recovery. Sponsorship and 12 Step meetings are a requirement for all residents.

In addition to 12 step meetings we believe that recovery book studies are paramount to the recovery process. With that in mind we have weekly Big Book Studies at all of our homes. The ladies study literature during this hour each week and begin building relationships with women in recovery.

• Drug / Alcohol Testing

Each resident is alcohol tested every day. Drug testing is performed on each resident twice per week, and upon suspicion.

• Recovery Coaching

A Recovery Coach is a peer who helps remove personal and environmental barriers to recovery and links the newly recovering person to the recovering community.

Each resident will meet weekly with their Recovery Coach and establish short-term, achievable goals that will promote success and reentry into society.

• Recovery Advancement System

We have found that there are many components to having a successful recovery residence. Recovery Inn’s Recovery Advancement System is our phase system and was designed to promote 12 step work, accountability and structure. In the RAS there are small attainable goals our women can meet. This gives each woman a continued sense of success and builds a strong foundation.

• Spiritual Support

Spiritual support involves the degree to which a person experiences a connection to a higher power that is actively supporting, protecting, guiding, teaching, helping, and healing. For many people, having a relationship with a higher power is the foundation of their psychological well-being. Because individuals seek meaning when experiencing life changing events such as recovery, and spirituality is an important coping mechanism, promoting spiritual beliefs and practices is highly appropriate.

The Recovery Inn spiritual support groups are one-of-a-kind. Residents learn about recovery as a spiritual journey with a potentially positive outcome. Recovery Inn also encourages involvement with a spiritual path that is consistent with their experiences and values.

At Recovery Inn we know that a spiritual connection and a well maintained spiritual life is essential to the success of each individual in recovery. Each resident will be given the opportunity to form a mature spiritual connection while residing at Recovery Inn. This is done through weekly and bi-weekly support groups at each location. Our spiritual support groups are a required part of our program and are often the highlight of each ladies week.
